Such a fun week last week! My sweet friend Lindsey returned home from her mission and it was so nice catching up with her and the girls! I love my friends so much!! (just missing Alaina and Stacee)

 We finally got some family pictures and updated ones of our Emma girl! I seriously cannot believe she is 18 months old!! She is such a big girl it makes me sad but it's also exciting too!

Little stinker wanted nothing to do with our photographer but we luckily still got a few good photos even this cute one with a tear in her eye!

New Job!

Well it is finally official! Mike is now employed with Saratoga Springs Police Department.
Mike changing departments is something we have wanted for awhile now. Tooele City has been great for the most part but Mike was ready for something new and wanting to make more money. Saratoga opened up the end of last year and right from the beginning Mike and I both felt pretty good about it.
This new journey will be such a blessing for our family. Saratoga Springs is such a nice town that is just booming in population. We hope to move out there sometime this year. It is only 45 minutes away from Tooele. So we say it is not to far but just far enough :)

I am so proud of Mike and I look forward to our future with Saratoga Springs!

Christmas 2011

                  Christmas was great this year! Emma started getting the hang of opening up her presents and she loved to tare open the paper.

We are lucky that both our families are right here in Tooele. So between Christmas Eve and Day we were able to go back and forth to our families.
Emma got spoiled of course but i don't think to overboard. She has lots of new great toys to keep her busy! Mike did a great job at spoiling me too : ) On Christmas day we went to church which was just sacrament. It was a great way to start off Christmas day and to remember why we celebrate Christmas.
         

 

Hawaii Trip!

Mike, Emma and I just returned home from the Beautiful Island of Oahu, Hawaii. We were so excited to get the chance to take Emma to the Beach and swim everyday. I have been to Hawaii before but this was Mike and of course Emma's first time. My sweet Grandma let us tag along on this trip with herself, my mom, Aunt, and Uncle.
We stayed at the Ko Olina Beach Resort, and wow was this place beautiful. I have stayed at alot of Marriots before, but this one was the best by far! We had a great trip sight seeing, going to the PCC, Dole plantation and just relaxing on the beach at the pool.

Birthday Girl!

Emma's Birthday has come and gone. I am a little sad that she is turning into such a big girl, but at the same time this age is pretty fun!

Sadly Me and Emma were both sick on her Birthday :( I had a really bad sinus infection and she had diarrhea all weekend. I had zero energy on the day I needed it most. I didn't get a family picture that I wanted, infact we didn't take any pictures at all! My wonderful sister and sister in law did take some so I am glad for that.We did have the video camera rolling though! Anyway all that is ok! I couldn't excpect to much from my girls 1st Birthday. Luckily I have an amazing husband who helped me get everything ready that day. So even though we were under the weather the Party still turned out ok.

Even when she is sick she is prettiest girl in the world!!
