Almost Baby time!

I am 2 weeks away from due date and I am so excited! I go for my 38 week appt. tomorrow. Last week I was dilated just at a 1 and 75% effaced. That's not to much but I think this week I will have progressed. Either way we will have a baby anytime between now and March 6th :)
Emma seems to finally be getting the idea that a Baby really is coming and there are going to be some major changes in her little life. She has been acting out a little more than usual and wanting to already act like a baby herself. She also seems excited and anxious to help out so it will be fun to see how she is with him. For me, some days I get really sad that it will no longer be just her and I while Dad is at work. It's always  just been her and I 24/7 and she is my buddy. I just hope I will be able to make her feel like she is still my little buddy and she will get to help me take care of baby brother!
I can't wait to post some pictures here soon and see what my sweet little boy looks like!

Busy life!

Well a lot has been going on the last few months! We have adjusted well out here in Saratoga Springs. It is nice being out of Tooele but still close enough to go home and visit our families often. Mike is enjoying working for Bluffdale City which still part of the SSPD. We have made some great friends out here as a couple and I have made some really good friends on my own that I love spending time with.
Our little Family is growing and we couldn't be more excited about it! We will be welcoming a Baby Boy the beginning of March! It will be so different to have a baby boy but I am seriously so looking forward to it! I think Emma will be a great big sister once she realizes that the baby will be sticking around lol.
Emma girl just had her 2nd Birthday and it was a blast! All week long we sang "Happy Birthday to Emma" she loved all the attention and we had a fun little party with Family and some friends out here at our clubhouse.
Emma truly is a 2 year old let me tell you! Some days a terrible 2 and others just an active chatty little girl! She talks so well!! I love that we can have a little conversation and most of the time I know what she is saying. Right now Emma is still into Barney, Elmo and her new found love is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She loves jumping off of tables, chairs, anything she can find! Poor girl has already had 2 sets of stitches. One set under her chin and the other on her right eyebrow. She has also already lost a fingernail from getting her finger pinched in a folding chair and the nail bruised then fell off!! Crazy!!
Life is pretty busy with me working a part time job from home. It has been financially rewarding but that's about it haha. I am not someone who works well on a computer! I just have a hard time sitting still that long, because yes I have ADD. But it has been a blessing for us and I won't complain :)

 Such a fun week last week! My sweet friend Lindsey returned home from her mission and it was so nice catching up with her and the girls! I love my friends so much!! (just missing Alaina and Stacee)

 We finally got some family pictures and updated ones of our Emma girl! I seriously cannot believe she is 18 months old!! She is such a big girl it makes me sad but it's also exciting too!

Little stinker wanted nothing to do with our photographer but we luckily still got a few good photos even this cute one with a tear in her eye!

New Job!

Well it is finally official! Mike is now employed with Saratoga Springs Police Department.
Mike changing departments is something we have wanted for awhile now. Tooele City has been great for the most part but Mike was ready for something new and wanting to make more money. Saratoga opened up the end of last year and right from the beginning Mike and I both felt pretty good about it.
This new journey will be such a blessing for our family. Saratoga Springs is such a nice town that is just booming in population. We hope to move out there sometime this year. It is only 45 minutes away from Tooele. So we say it is not to far but just far enough :)

I am so proud of Mike and I look forward to our future with Saratoga Springs!

Christmas 2011

                  Christmas was great this year! Emma started getting the hang of opening up her presents and she loved to tare open the paper.

We are lucky that both our families are right here in Tooele. So between Christmas Eve and Day we were able to go back and forth to our families.
Emma got spoiled of course but i don't think to overboard. She has lots of new great toys to keep her busy! Mike did a great job at spoiling me too : ) On Christmas day we went to church which was just sacrament. It was a great way to start off Christmas day and to remember why we celebrate Christmas.
